Estevan is a dedicated leader in business development, customer service, and community engagement. He currently serves as the President/CEO of the Sinton Chamber of Commerce and the Interim CEO for the YMCA of the Coastal Bend, where he actively works to foster economic growth, strengthen local businesses, and enhance community programs.
With a background that spans Visit Corpus Christi, Del Mar College, and an extensive tenure with the Walt Disney Company, Estevan has trained and developed over 5,500 Cast Members across Disney Global, Disney Parks & Resorts, and Disney Institue programs. His expertise in training, leadership, development, and operational excellence is the foundation of his work.
Estevan is also the Founder/CEO of A.T.O.M. (A Touch of Magic) Training & Consulting, where he provides specialized training in customer service, leadership, and business strategy. His hands-on experience working with both small businesses and global brands gives him a unique perspective on operations at every level. Passionate about customer experience, community development, and professional growth, Estevan believes in empowering individuals and organizations to reach their full potential. His leadership continues to leave a lasting impact, inspiring businesses and communities alike to thrive.

Director of Education and Community Engagement
Katie Galan serves as Director of Education and Community Engagement for Better Business Bureau serving the Heart of Texas. She is responsible for media, public relations and community outreach.
Katie, a native of Corpus Christi, has more than 19 years of experience in the communications field. Immediately prior to joining BBB, Katie served as the executive director of Beautify Corpus Christi Association. In addition, Katie has also worked in public relations and marketing for large organizations such as Stripes Convenience Stores and Driscoll Children’s Hospital.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Katie served in many volunteer organizations and on boards of directors, including The Junior League of Corpus Christi, the Coastal Bend Food Bank, Corpus Christi Metro Ministries and the Art Museum of South Texas-Artrageous. Katie currently serves on the board of Beautify Corpus Christi Association and Esperanza de Tejas, Inc.
Katie loves spending time with her husband, Mark, and being a mom to her fur babies, Lucky and Princess Prescott.

Councilman Everett Roy – Biography
Everett A. Roy was born and raised in Ohio. He moved to California for college and in 1982 joined the U.S. Army. He served proudly on Active Duty for 10 years in the Army Medical Department which included a deployment to Saudi Arabia and Iraq during Desert Storm. Upon leaving Active Duty he served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Mr. Roy has a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Chaminade University and a Master’s degree in Management from Webster University. Early in his civilian career he worked in managed health care and in 1998 transitioned into banking.
In addition to owning his own mortgage brokerage, Everett has worked for several banks and financial organizations. His residential and commercial lending experience is vast, and he is currently Market President for National Bank and Trust of Texas.
An avid servant leader, Mr. Roy was appointed in 2017 and then elected to Corpus Christi City Council, District 1 from 2018 – 2021. He was elected again to Council in 2023 and re-elected in 2025. Mr. Roy has volunteered and been selected for numerous non-profits, committees, and boards throughout his career.
A family man, Everett has been married for 34 years. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their beautiful children.
