Economic Development Committee
To keep the WBA members informed and up-to-date on economic initiatives in our community; to inform WBA members of possible board openings in the city of county government.
Education Committee
To promote and help support education, particularly the city’s Westside neighborhood schools; to organize a small business center for the purpose of supporting those existing or start-up businesses on the city’s Westside; etc.
Community Outreach
To provide networking opportunities for our members and vehicle for small businesses to “highlight” their businesses; create other outreach opportunities to create awareness of WBA within the Westside business community.
Membership Committee
To maintain and increase membership of the WBA through promoting and stimulating membership at various events; responsible for monthly member networking breakfasts; schedule speakers and sponsors for each meeting; etc.
Revitalization Committee
To exchange the community and businesses on the city’s Westside.
Bylaws Committee
To review the By-Laws annually each year.
Finance Committee
Treasurer will chair this committee and will review finances and reports.
